Victoria Ahmadizadeh


Victoria Ahmadizadeh (b. 1988, Pennsylvania) is an American artist and writer of Persian Hispanic descent. She holds an MFA in Craft/Material Studies, Glass from Virginia Commonwealth University (2016) and a BFA in Glass/Ceramics from Tyler School of Art at Temple University (2010.) Ahmadizadeh is currently an adjunct professor in Glass at Tyler School of Art.

In 2017, Ahmadizadeh was awarded a Fellowship by the Creative Glass Center of America, Wheaton Arts, NJ. She has also been an Artist in Residence at The Studios at MASS MoCA, MA, and the STARworks Glass Lab, NC. Her work will be featured in the 2017 Young Glass exhibition competition at the Glasmuseet Ebeltoft in Denmark as well as New Work, the UrbanGlass MFA exhibition in Brooklyn. In addition, she participated in the 2016 Stanislav Libenský Award show at the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague. Ahmadizadeh’s work is included in New Glass Review #33 and #38, published by The Corning Museum of Glass.

Shahrzad Changalvaee, (Born 1983, Tehran, Iran), received her BA in Graphic Design from Faculty of Fine Arts, Tehran University in 2006 and her MFA in Sculpture from Yale School of Art in 2015.
Her Practice responses to sculpture in a vast field of mediums, including object making, installations, videos, texts and performances. Shahrzad's works have been exhibited in different venues and galleries in Iran, UAE, Kuwait, Lebanon, Austria, U.K, Canada and the U.S.
Her collaborative on-going lecture-performance has been performed several times within and outside of the U.S.
She has collaborated with other artists and collectives, such as Dabireh Collective, which she was a board and editorial member. In summer 2016 She joined Bon-Gah collective, as the co-director.  
In 2012, Shahrzad was introduced as runner-up of MOP CAP prize.
She currently lives between New York and New Haven.

Laimah Osman is a Brooklyn-based artist and educator whose artistic production takes the form of prints, drawings and artist's books. Her work has been displayed in numerous exhibitions and is archived various libraries. She has been awarded residencies at The Lower East Side Printshop, Kala Art Institute and Women’s Studio Workshop as well as grants from Brooklyn Arts Council and Jerome Foundation. Currently, she is teaching at Parsons The New School for Design and making prints with local poets. She graduated with a BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University (1998); and an MFA from Pratt Institute (2010).
