Lucia Caleta is an Argentinean artist and writer living and working in NY. She studied at Universidad de Buenos Aires Literature and Semiotics where she also was a Professor. In NY she earned her MFA in Creative Writing at NYU where she received a scholarship and a special award to finish her thesis in Prague. She works as a collaborator in many magazines and newspapers of Latin America. She published two poetry books and she is now working in her first novel. Last year she held an exhibition in Museo Casa Bicentenario de Buenos Aires where she studies this relationship between writing and visual arts. She won the Argentinian prize Fondo Nacional de las Artes in 2016.
